| Home | Town of Killarney The town of Killarney thrives on the tourism generated by the park. It comes as no surprise that many of the businesses there are tailored to the needs of backcountry campers. While it has everything a small town generally has, ranging from the general store to the liquor store, the main difference is the abundance of places to find camping supplies. Arguably the best place in the area is Killarney Outfitters.  Naturally, they carry all the
camping supplies you could need, but if your planning on canoeing into
the park its a great place to rent canoes and kayaks. While they
are just down the road from the George Lake entrance, you don't have to
worry about transporting the canoe as they will bring it down to their
own dock on George Lake.
On top of this, they also rent out other camping gear, and offer outfitting packages for those looking to rent most of their gear. |
